Record sealing
Sealing can limit public access to eligible Arizona criminal records. Depending on your circumstances, relief may be available after a conviction, a dismissal, a not-guilty verdict, or an arrest that did not lead to charges. Eligibility and timing depend on your case.
Setting aside a conviction
After you complete your sentence and are discharged by the court, you may be eligible to ask the court to set aside the judgment of guilt. A set aside can provide meaningful relief, but it does not seal or erase the record.
